Iris earned her B.A. in Psychology from UCLA and an M.A. in Psychology from Boston University. She then worked as a research coordinator at Northwestern University before pursuing a PhD Program in Clinical Psychology at Temple University. She is currently completing her internship year at Western Psychiatric Hospital/University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Her research examines the crosstalk between inflammatory processes and reward processing in the onset and maintenance of depression. In the ANDP Lab, Iris investigates how dopamine availability and inflammation interact in relation to components of anhedonia.
