Luis Flores, Ph.D

Dr. Flores earned a B.A in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and a Ph.D. in clinical/community psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. His research used experimental and naturalistic methods, including fMRI and ecological momentary assessment, to examine how close relationships and interpersonal functioning confer protection or risk in the development and clinical course of depression among adolescence and young adults.

Dr. Flores is now an Assistant Professor with the Department of Psychology at Queen's University in Kingston, ON, Canada. He is the director of the Relationships, Emotions, and Depression in Youth (READY) Lab at the univeristy.
