Melanie has her BS in psychology and is a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research focuses on how stressful life events and adversity affect emotion regulation and executive functioning in ways that lead to depression, anxiety and suicidality during childhood and adolescence. Melanie is originally from the Boston area and loves to spend free time hiking, dancing at concerts and stopping to pet every dog on the street.
